On Tuesday 26th November was the Tread Lightly Team Litter Blitz around our community. Thank you to the parents/ caregivers who came along and helped us on the Litter Blitz walk and those who came and helped cooked the sausages. Here is Fetongi who found the Golden Ticket.
Fetongi got the GOLDEN TICKET and she got a prize which is a t shirt. BE A TIDY KIWI
On Litter Blitz Day we put on our gloves and colourful vests. We walked to the shops and started picking up rubbish. I wasn't very happy because I saw adults walking over the rubbish. One of the shopkeepers gave us bananas because we did a very good job for picking up the rubbish around Owairaka shops. I hope the people put the rubbish in the rubbish bins not on the ground.
