Background: Owairaka has been on a journey of incorporating digital resources
into a range of teaching approaches.  We aim for a blended environment where
staff and students have the option to choose the best resources for the learning
at the time, whether it is digital or otherwise.  

Ako Hiko: Is a cluster of eight schools who work together to create equity, raise
achievement and offer opportunities to all our learners. The basis of the learning
is the Learn, Create and Share learning model.

Research: The Woolf Fisher Trust, a research arm of the University of Auckland,
send out these annual questionnaires to give feedback to the cluster about how
the digital environment helps to learn.  Woolf Fisher collects data from Year 4-6
parents as some of the other cluster schools have digital devices for all ages.
The feedback we get from this survey will be specific to Owairaka as well as
from the whole cluster.
